Follow the instructions below to add a shortcut to the Hammock app on the Home Screen of your iPhone, iPad, or Android devices, or even as an app on your laptop or desktop.
iPhone or iPad
- Open readhammock.com/feed in Safari. This does not work from Chrome or other third-party browsers at this time unfortunately.
- Tap on the share button (looks like a box with an arrow pointing upwards) to open the menu. On your iPhone, you'll find this at the bottom, and on iPads, in the upper right corner.
- Tap the Add to Home Screen option (you may have to scroll down a bit to see it). A dialog will appear, with the icon that will be used for the app on the left.
- Tap Add, and then Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone's or iPad's Home Screen.
- You can now open Hammock any time right from your Home Screen đ
Android
- Launch Chrome app and open readhammock.com/feed.
- Tap the menu icon (3 dots in the upper right corner) and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add, and the app will now live on your your Android's Home Screen.
Laptop/Desktop
- Launch Chrome and open readhammock.com/feed.
- Look for the 3 dots in the upper right corner (next to your Google account picture), click on More Tools and Create Shortcut.
- Optionally, check the Open as window checkbox.
- Click Create, and the app will now live on your computer as a standalone app.
